A late afternoon sun was playing with letters, highlighting some..
Just playing with our little Grey cells... rebus or riddle..
However we put it the arrow goes only one way!!

Un rebus pour faire travailler les petites cellules grises..
Mais on a beau la tourner dans tous les sens
La fleche est en "sens unique"!!!

Tribeca means Triangle Below Canal street.
A neighborhood that once was only warehouses.
And in it , a touch of color, a breath of Spring...

Fait d' entrepots transformés en appartements et parmi eux,
une petite note de couleurs,un petit air de Printemps...

Cela va faire 25 ans que je vis a NY,
et quand je me retrouve face a cette vue, j'en ai toujours le souffle coupé..

Real Shutters

Shutters are not such a common sight here,
specially on apartments buildings.
Many houses have them in the suburbs, but they are mainly fake ones
that do not close, their purpose is purely esthetic, as opposed to those above.
Tomorrow, I will show you the view from those windows.

d'autant plus dans des immeubles d'appartements.
Les maisons a l'exterieur de NYC ont souvent des volets
mais dans un but uniquement esthetique,
ils sont colles aux murs et ne peuvent se fermer,contrairement a ceux ci.

The white haired man with a tan, and a British accent
always dressed in a fine cut suit with a tie..
The man selling vegetables peelers for..

Vanity Fair made him even more famous,writing about his 4 marriages
his beautiful apartment on the Upper East side and his love for "the street".
On Sunday, at 75 , he decided to test the pitch on other galaxies..

Pour ceux qui ont l'habitude de passer par le marché de Union Square,
il etait:
L'homme aux cheveux blancs ,en costume cravate,
parlant avec un accent Anglais.
Le Dandy qui vendait, avec bagout, des éplucheurs sur le marché.
Le magazine Vanity Fair lui avait consacré un article,
en evoquant ses 4 mariages,
son bel appartement dans le quartier huppé
mais surtout son amour de la rue .
Dimanche a l'age de 75ans, il nous a quittés
pour aller charmer de nouveaux badauds... dans d'autres galaxies..
