"Morning has broken"...
Port Maria 7 a.m , the boat is leaving for the Island of Belle Ile...
Some people left already... others are still sleeping...
Imagine opening one of those colorful shutters,
It's high tide, you can hear the waves crashing on the sand..
the smell of coffee and "croissants" is tickling your nose..
It can only be a beautiful day ahead..

Marie-Noyale, I've never been to Belle-Ile, despite my many years of having lived in France. I must do it next time. This, as well as your other photos, is lovely and I'll be back to visit you.
Oh MY! I love those colorful shutters!! And when I saw it I somehow knew it wasn't an image from the USA. Wonderful! Thanks for sharing this.
Bien revenue!
What a very good idea to make a rather ordinary looking building look so nice and inviting!
This is the 1st time I see your blog and I have to congratulate you for the fantastic photos all over it! Keep on the good work and thank you for sharing such great images.
Greetings
Love this image. Nice shot.
C'est absolument charmant! On dirait un catalogue de peinture. ;)
This is wonderful. The bold colours, so sweet.
What an superb find - a feast of color & shapes.
Wonderful! I've never seen a building with so many different coloured volets. What a great effect. Have just spent time looking back over your photographs I missed. Love your photography, Marie-Noyale - just beautiful and you show your city so interestingly and artistically.
Incroyable facade! On aimeait connaître les audacieux propriétaires de cet hotel. Excellent sujet insolite.
Dennis is so glad to she that you're back!!! Cats love a good window and these are superb!
Marie-Noyale, I'm with Eliane in saying how absolutely charming this image is. And like a child with a scene like this before them, I'd like to open and close all those shutters and doors. This is truly inviting! Kudos!

Bonne reprise New Yorkaise.
Marie-Noyale, I will be back in Westport on October 11. I hope this time we will be able to meet....
