Apres la pluie , le beau temps...

"Every cloud has a silver lining"
The storm was leaving , Long Island is almost invisible
Thunder is still roaring, and the first rays of sun reappear from the West...

Long Island est a peine visible.

Thanks for your visit to my blog this morning. I hope you enjoyed my post today.

I enjoyed reading your blog post for today and I thought the photography was good too. You have the contrasts nearly perfect--between the sky and seat and white boats. That couldn't be planned any better. And the bump up in color on the grass is really nice and contrasts nicely with the dark browns and tans.

And I wanted you to know I was here. Kind of like "Kilroy" was here...remember those drawings everyone used to make?

Beautiful composition - the lighting is exquisite - the darker background contrasted with the white-hulled boats.

"Louis" thanks you for visiting San Francisco Bay Daily Photo for Odd Shots Monday - and for reminding him how the fruit gets in the bottles of some of those liquers. He had forgotten that.

A bientôt

This is stunning light. I love it when the sun finally slides under the cloud front near the end of the day racking the scene with that lovely low angle warmth!

Il y a aussi..There is also...
