Goldilocks...

Visiting the New Museum of Contemporary Arts downtown,
You can enjoy the Art while sitting in a chair of your choice,
matching the painting you are looking at!!!
This man taking a pause reminded me of the Story Of Goldilocks..

"Someone has been sitting on my chair!! "growled Papa Bear...

What jumped into my mind immediately when I saw the thumbnail was "Whistler's Mother."

That is so cool, love the way they match the chairs. This guy reminds me of the old Memorex commercial "Is it real, or is it Memorex".

I had a similar experience at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, there the seating doesn't match the artwork but they are works of art. My favorite was a seamless stoneware bench, beautifully glazed. I wonder if Goldilocks tried all the chairs? I know I would.

One of these days I am going to read & understand ALL the comments of your French blogger friends. I love trying to figure them out (without Google translator) & just get stuck & can't quite figure out the meaning. Sorry, I off on a tangent. Like the matching chairs & the bold colors of the art. I'd be very happy with the little one with Red/Yellow/Squares - kind of a clean, crisp Rothko.

Having chairs in a museum is a great idea. I find museum going very tiring and think there should be more chairs:)

Composition and colours are amazing!

Your museum photos are perfection. My favorites. I am with Tash. The French comments are my French lesson some days. I have to haul out that high school dictionary and oft refer to Babelfish. YOu know how sad my francais it. Bless Alice for editing my faux pas every day. Hugs,
V
