Landmark
For those of you,who will not get a chance to see it this year,
here it is!!
One cannot visit Manhattan in December, without,
the traditional picture of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree.
Down at the end of the alley led by the angels is
an ice rink with a golden statue of Prometheus.
Have an excellent week end.
Special Thanks to Tr3nta at Madrid daily Photo
for giving me those two awards to share as friends
And like he said very nicely:
"One gives what one receives " so I want to share them with:
Catherine from the Five of us
Clueless in Boston
Squirrel in Nyack

Oh, I have to run into town this week and see it. Yay! Christmas really snuck up on me this year!
There is no place like Manhattan for viewing Christmas Trees. Other must-see trees include the Main Library at 42nd and 5th, and the tree at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
I've never been in NYC on Christmas (and surely never will) so it's good to see the landmark through your blog. The tree looks gorgeous and your photo is brilliant!
Thanks for taking us with you. Just a beautiful sight. Glad I didn't miss it!

I haven't been to NYC at Christmas time in a few years and appreciate the image of the tree at Rock Center. Beautiful capture. I love the pictures you get with the 5D; they ALMOST make me want to switch from Nikon.
Thanks for the sharing the award. Have a bon weekend.
This says "Christmas" to me, so iconic. So generous of you to share with us, I love it!
You've captured it beautifully! Hopefully one day I'll get to see it in person. I bet it's breath taking!
(private joke)

I left you some comments on my blog. Also Entre le Boeuf can be found on Deezer with several different singers.

Have fun with our pal Olivier!
Never had the luck to be in NYC at the right moment to see this!
Why is it called Norway spruce? Could be Swedish spruce! (Sweden has a lot more of this spruce than Norway. Have to find out! :-))
Gorgeous! I just saw this same scene in the movie Elf yesterday!
