Little pleasures

Before the temperature gets in the 'teens again...
A few minutes outside to enjoy a little music .

I believe these are the Pipes of Pan. Not sure. Love the photographs - especially the guy looking on and obviously so enjoying the music.

Marie-Noyale, I left two responses on Menton DP explaining how to do the Focal B and W. (ie where the small piece of food was in colour) It's so simple with Picasa which is a free download for PC or Mac.

Wow! Increadible pictures, especially the second one!

The expression of the onlooker is captured brilliantly!

I of course bought one of these flutes when I was in Peru (like I bought a bagpipe when I was in Scotland...) and optimistically thought it would not be too difficult to learn. I can now tell you that it's not that easy!

Very well composed photos! All these greys make a wonderful contrast with the redish brown in the background.

Very nice photos. I also believe those are pan pipes that he is playing; they have a nice haunting quality to them.

Moi aussi - I agree with the other comments...I love the way you captured the man leaning & looking on, but what makes it special is the combination of the musician and the listener.

Doesn't it stir your heart to see and hear people on the street creating such sweet music. The music is perfect for this, as is the gentleman's portrait.

Il y a aussi..There is also...
