Perfection, Marie-Noyale! I thought for one second it was an old photograph of the Twin Towers and then realised that of course these two towers are not tall enough. Just gorgeous. Well done indeed.

Superbe. Avec un petit pincement au coeur quand même...Bises.

This is great - my first thought was that they were the twin towers. I did not know that Time Warner had two...

Great blog my friend!

Clueless in Boston March 1, 2009 at 1:45 PM

They look like two candles burning in the sunlight. Great capture for theme day.

Beautiful!

Sunrise and sunset can create a very defined sense of immediacy. I think you got some beautiful light for Theme Day, M-N. Lucky for us.

magiceye March 1, 2009 at 11:41 PM

Il faut profiter de ces 10 minutes.

Nathalie H.D. March 2, 2009 at 5:52 AM

Brilliant (literally speaking) choice for today's theme!

J.C. March 2, 2009 at 11:26 AM

Spectacular! The towers look like two blocks of solid gold bar!!! How I wish!! Then we can chip them off!!

slim March 2, 2009 at 3:50 PM

M-N, You really know your city and the light play . . . this is so impressive. Your glass is definitely more than 1/2 full as the saying goes ;-)

claude March 3, 2009 at 12:32 AM

On dirait des lingots d'or . Superbe ! Ce sont d'autre tours jumelles à ce que je vois.Merci pour la correctio, j'ai immediatement corrigé quand j'au eu ton mail. C'est bergson qui va se fiche de moi!!!!

gogouci March 3, 2009 at 12:52 AM

Nice capture of a beautiful, emotive moment.

Deux lingots d'or fièrement dressés ...
Ironique en pleine crise économique ...
L'or et l'art ici réunis restent deux valeurs sures ...

Cergie March 3, 2009 at 12:18 PM

Chuck Pefley March 3, 2009 at 8:41 PM

Love the way these twin towers are isolated from the rest of the skyline in shadow!! Are these perhaps seen to the west from the Apple store along the south edge of Central Park? And I don't refer to your particular vantage point for your photo ...

I love the golden tone, we get this on certain days in Nyack, across the river one building in Westchester glows as if aflame.
