Toys... Jouets...

There are different ways to visit New York City.
You can walk, Manhattan is an easy town
to walk around without getting lost ,
The Avenues go North /South,the streets go East /West.
You can use ,the subway,a bus, a Taxi ride OR a Limo ride...
with a bar, sunroof, and as many windows as you want!!!

I would think walking would be the safest.

Oh wow! What a limo!

I don't think we have a single long limo in the entire Philippines. If we did, it would have been featured in our newspapers or magazines by now.

I like the toy cabs—especially the one with the checkerboard pattern. That's always what I visualize when I think of NYC taxis. ;)

I LOVE it.. I think I'd probably have to do the taxi, but I'd have to do at least a LITTLE walking!

That limo looks like it just might have a hot tub as well. I would hate to chauffeur that thing around any town ... especially New York ... although people might give your respect and a wide berth just because it's so darn big.

I like your title - very appropriate.
And I like the contrast between the taxi and the limo, between a somewhat modest mode of transportation and a somewhat flashy one.

C'est une Limousdine Hotel ou quoi? Mon Dieu !

You could fit my island in that limo. Well no, but you get what i mean. Yellow taxis say NY. stretch limos now are just so commonplace, even here. Great contrast between the two.

Hi Marie Noyale!
Sorry for the absence these last weeks, but unfortunately it wasn’t due to some summer holidays… ;))
I always walk or take the Subway in NYC; but the limo looks great... ;) The farniente picture is lovely!!
Meanwhile Blogtrotter, now at the MoMA for Art and New York lovers, is waiting for your comments! Hope you enjoy and wish you a great week!

Marie Noyale-- we were in the city a lot the last few days --snapping away (a photo blogger is visiting me from the UK) and we mentioned your shots quite a few times as we took pics... inspiration!

p.s there's a good exhibition at the IPC on 43rd & Sixth ( Bill Wood's Business) I recommend it if you haven't already seen it.
