Look around..turn around
and turned around to change lenses, when I sighted
the sun and the passerby's shadows playing together on a brick wall..
Sometimes it is worth looking in another direction..

A very good Week end to everybody,
and a special "Bon Voyage" to Virginia who is leaving
for a Paris trip in 2 days...

Hello Marie
These are wonderful pictures! I liked the ones with the brick walls and the shadows on them!

Beautiful sunset M-N, you're absolutely spot-on with this one. And very cheeky of you to post the Eiffel Tower at night!
Great images!
Oh you are so right. Look in another direction - such good advice. I love shadows and reflections and often miss them because I didn't turn around!
Your photographs are beautiful - and yes I echo Bon Voyage to Virginia.
Love the one with the 3 figures! With the blue Eiffel tower pic, I'm
getting even more envious of you lucky people that are in Paris, have been recently, are going, ...
Have a great, relaxing weekend.
Yes, sometimes things happen right beside us and our attention is focused on something else... But I guess you have noticied every one of them around you! :-) Great captures!

The shadow images are way more interesting than any sunset photo could've been. Bravo!
Hi Marie-Noyale! Lovely shots! The moulles' restaurant is amazing; the Arcade solo is a great catch...
Giacometti and Bacon? Should fly to NYC... ;))
Meanwhile Blogtrotter is back to Greece in November 2007 waiting for your comments! Hope you enjoy and have a great weekend!
Yes, sometimes you must look in other directions, for new horizons! ... and you even manage to look over the horizon... as far as to our blue Tower!
Wonderfully mysterious photos. I like the colors.
Bon Voyage to Virginia.. Have a marvelous trip.. I'm right behind you.
30 more days...

Thank you for your comment on my new Gateway Arch blog. I hope people enjoy it.
I used to hang out in Larchmont occasionally years ago. I went to high school at Fordham Prep in the Bronx and had several classmates from your town.
Regrettably, I've never visited your blog before. So many CDPBs and so much pulling on my time. Very impressive photography. The first photo today is striking and a bit scary.
I'm following Virginia's path to Paris in April and brushing up my French. It's the best photo op.

the first shadow looks like it would make you look twice. The photos are very warm and rich.
Very cool shadow pictures! And a beautiful photo of Paris :)
Oh yeah! Always know what's happening behind you when that great light is in front of you. Often even better when you turn around :)
Great series!
PS: the Eiffel Tower is now blue again
Fine work.
Bonjour de Dublin, Irlande.
