Down the Avenue

Nothing fancy today, just a regular stroll
down Lexington Avenue facing South,
Further down to the left, the tip of the Chrysler building!!

Impressive! The cloudy day has added to the richness in color of the picture!

your composition is like a pyramid of structures within...lovely!!

There is such a big contrast in building styles. What was new when Henry Ford began building cars is now old compared to the large buildings in the age of landing on the moon. What a contrast there is in this kind of photograph.

This is a fantastic shot! I don't find it very regular! :-)
I've just posted a couple of pics of your city on my travel blog and wish they were half as good as this one! :-)

At first i thought you were showing us a smaller city, the foreground looks like so many cities/towns. Interesting perspective.

So much going on in this shot! I love the perspective, and the movement! So much detail that I have to enlarge it! Really nice shot!

A great shot of the hustle and bustle of the city. Do they ever slow down?!!

I love the old and new in this. Lex is my favorite ave in ny. I lived on Lex once upon a time.

Even under this grey sky, "glass" buildings succeed to catch the light, and shine.

M-N, I couldn't figure out how I felt about this photo and then it hit me. It looks like a collage, like an art photograph that's been Photo Shopped, but in a great way. I just had to come back and see it again!

I like street shots because it really gives a sense of place. I like the reflection off the glass buildings in the background.
