Thanksgiving

The sun is setting over Lower Manhattan.
This is a view taken from Brooklyn.
One of the few "Long "weekends in the States is Thanksgiving WE.
The day of Thanksgiving is always the last Thursday of November.
Families do get together on that day to share a big festive meal,
which means a lot of things to do and enjoy with everybody around!!!

I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving,
and will see you back on Monday.
A lundi.

That is a great photo, Marie!! Perfect!! A Happy Thanksgiving to you too. I will celebrate this here in Italy with American friends (originally from San Francisco), like we do since many years with quite a range of different nationalities: Americans, English, Dutch, Swiss and Italians. Then the 13 kg turkey comes on the table with the sweet potatoes, etc. Lovely!
Greetings from Arona!

And a happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

I've spent too many cold winter evenings under the Brooklyn bridge making similar images. Brrr! Nice the sky cooperated with you.

Bonne journée.
