Presidential visit

Since the beginning of the week,
Manhattan sounds like a never ending siren ..
Police cars, diplomatic missions on the move...
It's just Another session of the United nations.
This guy is climbing the stairs of the Metropolitan Museum
getting ready for the arrival of our President, attending a Gala diner.

Nice! We had Biden a while back, but no Obama...yet!

J'ai connu ce ballet. Tout est beaucoup plus calme ici...
Salutations genevoises.

Sorry for the inconvenience but we have to be particularly careful in the protection of this president, don't you think?

I guess it would be a big deal for the soldier. I know it used to be a big deal when a commanding general made an appearance anywhere. At least we thought it was.

Thanks for helping me to make history.

Nothing like Marine dress blues!

President Obama, on Letterman the other night, apologized to New Yorkers for the commotion he was causing...

I thought was was rather nice...I mean, what other president would even think of the problems encountered by the "common" person.

Oh my that's a super shot. I don't know how you do it but you capture people in the moment so very well!

Nice shot of the soldier ascending the stairs putting on his white gloves.

I love how his body is angled like the lines in the shot around him. He is stark contast to the geometry! Nice catch!

such a presidential looking shot also. i can feel the formality and energy. I am glad you enjoyed my slot canyon photos. You would love to come to Arizona and take photos, but you would not want to go to the slot canyons if there is any chance of rain. that is when it is very dangerous. Come when it is not so hot. october or november would be great.

When you refer to "our" president, you refer to whom? Obama or Sarko? :-)

Il y a aussi..There is also...
