IN or OUT

Could not make up my mind...
And every time I asked around, I got 50/50 answers!!!

A passerby in Chelsea.

Nefertiti November 17, 2009 at 2:11 AM

deuxieme pour moi ;O)

bonne journee

Olivier November 17, 2009 at 2:12 AM

Have a nice week dear Marie!

brattcat November 17, 2009 at 7:18 AM

definitely in.

Tash November 17, 2009 at 9:55 AM

stunning photos - 'In' has more impact but 'Out' seems more charming for some reason. I really like them together as a progression - I think you should 'hang' them side by side.

Marguerite-marie November 17, 2009 at 11:05 AM

PJ November 17, 2009 at 1:34 PM

I think Tash just about said it all. And add any others you have for the progression, even the graphic by itself, the shadows only add to it.

Don't ask me which one I prefer, all I can see are two wonderful shots for a great fashion editorial!

Dawning Inspiration November 17, 2009 at 1:53 PM

I say, BOTH!! Great shots - truly.

cieldequimper November 17, 2009 at 2:06 PM

J'aime bien la séquence, en fait. Mais à choisir, je préfère in. Accessoirement, j'ai le tournis.

M-N,
You just amaze me over and over and over. Usually I have an opinion as you well know, but this time..... I love them both. Each a great shot in its own right.

I'm with Tash and Paula. . .a triptych would be nice.
The top shot is the strongest graphically as it takes full advantage of the diagonal shaft of light and the convergence of the red/white stripes, but I like the man's pose and expression more in the bottom shot. Both are great.

I was about to say the bottom one, but when I looked again, I don't know..... Both really are good in their own way.

Marie-Noyale November 18, 2009 at 8:38 AM

Yes!!!

Le dyptique semble approprié ...

namaki November 19, 2009 at 1:06 PM

PeterParis November 23, 2009 at 6:19 AM

Number one if I have to choose just one, but the second adds value to the first one!
Anyhow, once again, impressed by your pgotographic skills!

Chuck Pefley November 23, 2009 at 12:32 PM

Definitely in ... but if I'd had the option for placing the figure I would like to see his head just slightly to the left of the center of the graphic! However, I'll take either one. Great spot for a photo and very nicely seen. It's always so easy to give advise in "hindsight" ... not so simple in the heat of the moment!

Cheers!
