"I Wanna Hold Your Hand"

A real life "Madeline" in New York,
seems to come right out of her children book,
and is on her way to the Nutcracker at the City Opera.

Very nice capture of the young miss in the beautiful red coat and matching hat. Her mom doesn't look too bad in her fur either..

Madeline or Eloise?

You've outdone yourself this time Marie-Noyale! Just a superb photograph. Congratulations!

It's so nice to see a young girl dressed so appropriately for her age. There's plenty of time for the off-the-shoulder look. Did you enjoy the Nutcracker too, M-N?

wv dessess
it's almost dresses.

Beautiful, really enchanting little girl. Not so sure about the mother's fur...

I do think it to be more a Madeline outfit than an Eloise outfit.

What I like is the Beatles' title yet off to the opera.

Love the reflections on the mink(?) coat. The lady was lucky for not having come across a PETA member on her way to the Opera... Great capture!

(Just for the record, I'm against the use of fur)

P.S. And great title, too!

Hat and gloves and patent leather shoes and a day in the city with Mom...reminders of bygone days. A lovely photo.

Oh my, I love little girls that still get all dressed up for church and other special occasions!!! I'm liking Mummy's mink coat as well! :) Another of your fabulous street portraits M-N. I'd love to do Paris with you and see how many street portraits would could take! :)
