Golden reflection

A frigid late afternoon on Madison Avenue looking South.

I wish you a very nice Weekend.

Nice w.e. too!

Superbe lumiere. Bon Weekend

Marguerite-marie February 6, 2009 at 3:22 AM

cieldequimper February 6, 2009 at 3:58 AM

Moi ça ne me donne pas envie de rester sous la couette, bien au contraire, ça me donne trop envie d'aller me promener dans la lueur dorée de Madison Ave... Merci !

Bon week end à toi, Marie Noyale.

... and as the perfect blogger, you took the photo, standing in the middle of the street!

I wish you a nice and relaxing weekend as well!

Bon weekend. I see the UPS truck double parked, as they usually do in the city. Stay warm.

I'm with Peter, were you standing in the middle of the street with oncoming traffic bearing down on you? well maybe it was worth it for this luminous shot!

Bonne weekend!

M-N, your delightful photo reminds me of Manhattanhendge:

Wonderfully captured golden light, seems very appropriate for Madison Ave. As we've gotten a bit of rain, I keep seeing & snapping photos of reflected lights on the streets.
M-N, I don't know if you had a chance to see my post last Thursday - it was inspired by one of your recent posts. Have a super weekend.

Hi M-N! Excellent shot, even if it was freezing we don't feel it... ;)
I'm missing Madison (and the rest of NYC), in particular at 56th, on the way to my old place - The Drake... ;)
Thanks for your comments at Blogtrotter, now entering Rajasthan! Enjoy and have a great weekend!

M-N, I have been going through and through your NYC images and can't stop gazing. Each is wonderful in its own way, and I only wish I had you across a table over a cup of coffee to talk about them. I have never been to NYC, but as you can imagine, have seen thousands of images. Yours hit me in a way few others have. Thank you for these, and your other work, too, of course. Just really appreciate them.
