Stripes

The New York Easter Parade is a Spring tradition .
On Fifth Avenue,
Elegance and Gentlemanlike behaviour were in order.
There is Hope!!!

You've got a great blog with incredible photos. Especially like the one with the mannequin in the window and the man standing on the street below it.

I think the word is "dapper." That striped gentleman is very dapper, as are the couple!

Must be an interesting parade!

Hi again! Re your comment on Regina (Ocala DP) - you are exactly right...she was smoking a cigarette!

Très Gatsby...

I had no idea that New York continued with this old tradition. Especially love the first photo and the casual grace in the man's gesture.

As always, excellent and colourful! A lot of stripes (and some dots)! The star is you!

Beautiful shots. The couple in the second photo is very elegant and the style of their clothes harkens back to a bygone era.

Jolie tradition.

A charming smile and a tip of the hat. Ah, the good old days. And the last couple remind me of King Edward and Wally Simpson. (Imagination is required.) I just love the hat.

Glad to see you focused on fashion and taste instead of funny costumes. Very nice!!
